Glenn Brodin
Glenn has a proven track record of providing effective solutions to complex issues. He has excellent communication skills at all levels of the corporate structure. His experience ranges from large corporate environments to small and mid-size businesses.
After graduating Michigan State University with a Bachelor of science degree in packaging engineering, He started writing PC applications for packaging, and quickly began developing systems and creating applications for shop floor reporting.
His technology career also includes writing PC applications for the computer leasing industry. He developed innovative and creative programming techniques creating transactional database locking mechanisms optimized for WAN transmission. In addition, he supported various network topologies and operating systems in hybrid environments deploying servers, workstations and laptops.
With 23 years of technology , Brodin has supplied clients with technology solutions, and computer network support. As a consultant, he implements offerings from major manufacturers such as Microsoft, Novell-including file/print, corporate and Internet e-mail, The result is well rounded, one stop, end-to-end network coverage and support.
Brodin designs, implements and secures networking solutions for commodity traders, banks, financial institutions, lawyers, medical offices and manufacturers . His goal is to increase a client's network speed , reliability, usability and connectivity securely with wired, wireless and remote access solutions.
In 2006, he started ETA with Mark Levy to better serve their clients.
Mark Levy
Mark Levy has more than 30 years of technical experience encompassing virtually all areas of information technology. During these years, he has managed high level planning and sophisticated development projects, managed the day-to-day functions of a data center, prepared data processing strategic plans, configured telecommunications networks and systems and vendor negotiations.
Mark has extensive software, hardware and networking vendor knowledge. His expertise helps his clients select the best software or hardware products for their specific businesses as well as provide networking configurations, switches, and interface technologies.
Mark has certifications as a Cisco Sales Expert, Cisco Select, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Small Business Server, and VMware Sales Professional. Since January 1996, Mark has been an independent consultant and owner of System Management Associates, Inc. This business provides network, systems, software and operational support to a number of area municipalities, businesses and school districts on their computer systems and networks on an as-needed basis.
This support consists of design, implementation and installation, operation, support and problem resolution. Mark provides on-call pager response to critical-needs clients.
In 2004, Mark bought the assets of Northshore Inforamp, a reseller of Internet connectivity, webhosting, and email services, and used it to launch The Internet Factory, a facilities based Internet Service provider featuring DSL & T1 connectivity, web and email services, and spam-free email.
Some of his major projects include: serving as a consulting CTO to Aspen Datacom to provide VoIP and Internet services to small businesses, migrating the Village of Glenview from Novell networking to Microsoft, designing and maintaining the Village-wide network and server environment for the Village of Northbrook, and upgrading the Village of Morton Grove's network infrastructure to support VoIP.
Mark holds a technician class Amateur radio license, and he is an active member of the classic Digital Equipment Computer Users Society (DECUS) now known as HP Encompass.
In 2006, he joined in a new business venture with Glenn Brodin to form ETA to better serve his clients.
